Stories from clients
“After working with Erkki I learned to ground myself in the many stressful situations that come with my line of work. The conversations with Erkki were built on trust and he helped me navigate into the roots of my issues and he helped lay out a step-by-step path to train the muscles so I could be closer to who I wanted to be. I have since learned to remain calm in stressful situations, identify how people are different to have more empathy when communicating with them and I learned how being conscious about my physical self helps overcome situations where the brain gets stuck.”

“Working with Erkki over the past six months has helped me confront the past shame and disappointment that prevented me from positively moving towards my goals. His ability to listen to not only what I was saying but also the subtext helped to identify my behavioral patterns and move toward a solution. I recently finished my first topic and look forward to working on a second one with Erkki.”

“Before I started working with Erkki, I had been stumbling around in circles and feeling lost for some time already. Trying to figure it out all by myself didn’t seem to be working any longer though. Feeling the burning need to step out of that circle, I realized I could use some guidance along the way.
Erkki has been such a great guide in the process of me getting to know my deepest needs and desires. Working with him helped me see, understand and uncover the blockages and patterns that are not serving me any longer as well develop and refine my awareness to see things more clearly, in order to make better judgments and decisions for the future.”

"Erkki created a great environment of trust and openness for me from our first coaching session. I wanted to work on a certain area of my life to gain more clarity and I started to notice improvements really early on. Some of my key breakthrough moments emerged from surprising places and Erkki’s personal approach was really important in finding these ‘trigger points’. He was able to frame my questions and concerns from the right perspective exactly when I needed it.
I am really grateful for the strong focus we took on problem solving. This program was future oriented and employed creative approaches that have given me fast and really satisfying results. The sessions extended beyond the time I spent with Erkki, with him setting tasks for me to
integrate into my everyday life as well. These small practices were often easy to do but the benefits were priceless. Erkki has an amazing skill for asking the right question at the right time and “pushing the right buttons”. He was also able to succinctly summarise my situation
while making conclusions and giving feedback. I am definitely more confident since my sessions with Erkki and am deeply grateful to him for this! Before I started I didn’t know how positively the practices would change me and how great the benefits would be. "

I had 2 coaching programs with Erkki during the fastest period of my life building a unicorn startup. Erkki gave me the tools to cope with the rapid environment. Erkki helped me to become more structured & help prioritise my day to day in a fast changing environment. The second program was helping me to use the structure to bring a healthy lifestyle into my life to be able to prevent burnout.
I am still using daily the new skills that Erkki helped me to unlock. Erkki is very adaptable to different scenarios & people - even if it's outside of his domain of expertise. He always managed to bring in a metaphor to bring it closer to me. Erkki managed to find a new way of thinking when looking at a problem that I couldn't crack. Overall my experience was very positive and I have been recommending Erkki to everyone who has been looking for a coaching.

In the beginning of the programme I was doubtful about the effectiveness of the programme. What I liked about the method was the completeness of the approach and its structure. Still, I had no prior experience in coaching and doing some exercises seemed a bit artificial. I couldn't
imagine how these exercises could help me become more
self-compassionate. To be more precise, I couldn't imagine myself letting go of striving towards perfection. However, as prior to participating in the programme I ended up in a breakdown, I decided it was time to change and this programme seemed worth trying.
Erkki was a really good listener with great sense of empathy. His calm way of guiding the whole process created a nice relaxed atmosphere and opened the door to a sincere conversation. I appreciated the fact that he was non-judgemental and I felt encouraged to open up and show my
vulnerability and weakness - something that I had otherwise tried to avoid in order to create an image of myself as an efficient performer.
Despite all the doubts that I had in the beginning and to my great surprise, I felt shifting away from my destructive manner of thought already during the programme. By the end of the programme I became capable of negotiating my negative thoughts and appreciating what I already have, without losing my ability to perform. During our last
conversation with Erkki, I was even amazed when Erkki recalled some really depressive expressions (e.g. having a war against myself) that I had used during our first conversations and never used later. I made a huge step towards work/relax balance and peacefulness - a change in the quality of life that I couldn't imagine having before. Although I acknowledge that this is only the beginning of the path, I have the tools and Erkki's good advice to go on with. I already feel like successfully negotiating into signing a peace treaty with myself.

At first the idea of having a coach felt weird to me. But I wanted to begin the process with an open mind with expectation that if it doesn't add value, I'll politely end the process. I had some experience with mentoring and I assumed that there is not much difference. After the
first session when we got the topic down, I got excited. In the second meeting we set more specific goals and they were really exciting. We made steady progress, and today about 6 months later we have achieved what we originally aimed for.
Erkki has a pleasant carefree approach, but under his hipster-like appearance is a very professional coach. Asking questions and noticing patterns is his strength. His style is soft but determined. Coaching process is gradual and iterative. It was really exciting to take action and then wait for the next meeting. Process really takes into account
different speeds of movement. If you are progressing fast, you will get more complex practices. If at some period the progress is slower, the practices will lower the tempo as well.
I learned additional self-regulation, gained an ability to see a larger picture, and bring more out of myself than before. Some really valid insights emerged that have full application on my day-to-day life. I got some really good tools as well that I often use. Thanks Erkki! We'll move forward with other goals.

Coaching is a good tool to peek inside oneself, to discover one's strengths and to enhance them, to limit weaknesses or turn them into strengths. Thanks to Erkki's heartfelt coaching I can read myself better. I will keep using the practices I gained to live my values and I'm also much more calm and confident person. My 10-month cooperation
with Erkki was like warm food for soul. Erkki is one passionate coach who is constantly improving himself and that makes him all the more persuasive.

Our coaching journey has sparked my curiosity, joy and openness. Providing invaluable companionship for change process and progress, the questions, practical exploration, reflection and metaphors deepened my dive into different ways of being. It improved my awareness of my mission, my wants and needs, and the quality of my life. The whole
experience was enriching. I had many valuable insights and I felt I grew as a person.
Erkki's special powers as a coach include mastery of listening and observation and articulating what is in the air. And then, framing that information into potential stepping stone for development. Thank you.

This is already the second time I turn to Erkki for guidance. After working with him I still want to pursue my ambitions, but at the same time I am more reasonable in how I want to achieve them. We have a saying “to jump over one's shadow.” Erkki has shown how jumping over it is unnecessary if I can get to the other side in a more intelligent way that won’t break me.
Erkki is very empathetic and completely non-judgemental. Talking to him helped me break through my wall of self-criticism and to see the reality of things.

I had never worked with a coach before meeting Erkki, so I had no idea what to expect. I'm a very skeptical person by nature, nevertheless the outcome of the one-year coaching completely blew me away. I was never able to pinpoint down the actual problem I was facing, but Erkki took
one step at a time to understand the issues clearly and made sure we both understand where the core problem lies before starting the exercise sessions. The sessions were definitely challenging but as Erkki designed the exercises to be small steps at a time the process was very easy to
follow and the change occurred almost naturally. I most appreciated his honesty of taking a moment before proceeding if he was unsure about the exact question to ask me. This assured me he was very presently there in each session. His open mind and background in mindfulness practices made me trust his perception about the process and the goal and I am so glad I did. I started seeing changes in my daily life very soon after we started and the positive change continued throughout the whole process. I can say I am truly myself now and the fences I had built around myself are no longer there. The work inside me continues, but I feel I have a very strong ability to grow on based on the framework Erkki provided me. Erkki's coaching really changed my life and I don't think I would have
gotten there alone.
